Where Cynsio comes from
Cynsio was built from the practice of renting out and managing property, not from a product meeting. Manage property and build software both, and you quickly see how much of renting out is retyping.
Work a computer does better and faster than a person, and that almost everywhere still happens by hand. Cynsio does that work. Not to replace the landlord, but to give back the evenings that go into a spreadsheet.

Cijns is the old Flemish word for the recurring due paid on land and property. Whoever collected it kept a cijnsboek: who paid, when, how much.
Cynsio is that ledger, minus the handwriting.
